Motor size, tank volume and maximum pressure are not interchangeable measures. Start with working pressure at the user, total simultaneous air demand, duty pattern, distribution losses and storage needs.

ENGINEERING
A compressor can be correctly sized at its outlet and still underperform at the machine if piping, filters, hose or treatment equipment consume too much pressure. Installation is part of performance.
